MICHAEL HANSON PARKER
Michael Hanson "Mickey" Parker, age 69, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on January 3, 2024.
Mickey was born March 10, 1954, to the late Frances Barnes Parker-Blanton & James Hervin "Jim" Parker.
He graduated from Magnolia Senior High School in 1972 and served in the United States National Guard as a young man. He worked in the Oil & Gas industry until he became disabled in 2007.
Mickey is preceded in death by his father Jim, mother Frances, and sister, Karen Parker-Wiley (Delwyn).
He is survived by his brother, Larry Parker (Brenda) of Magnolia, daughter, Leslie Adrianne Parker -Wilcox (Sean) of Nacogdoches, TX, his son, Dawson Hanson Parker, of Plano, TX, -his 3 grandchildren Michael, Braley, & Allison, 2 great granddaughters, Ledah & Ezrah, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank Kennedy Health and Rehabilitation Center and the Harbour Hospice Team of Lufkin, Texas for all of their help, counseling, and support during Mickey's battle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's.
A memorial service will be held at Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, AR on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Brother Danny Bullock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you donate to the Alzheimer's Association in hopes for a cure.
