KING CURRY
King Curry, son of Bruno Curry, Sr. and Dossie Mae Easter Curry, was born October 25, 1951, in McNeil, Arkansas.
He received his education at the Southside School in McNeil, Arkansas.
On October 20, 2023, King Curry departed this life at his residence in McNeil, Arkansas. Preceding him in death is his parents, brothers Ira Roach, Elisha Roach, Bobby Lockhart, and Leon Lockhart. His sister Ida Mae Russ also preceded him in death.
King leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Tanjanika Latrice Weaver, Lithonia, GA; his brothers, John Lockhart (Felecia) Dallas, TX; Frank Lockhart (Mamie) Decatur, GA; Bruno Curry, Jr., McNeil, AR; and one sister Fannie Mae Watson, Mt. Morris MI. He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who share his memories and unite to bring comfort.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Home Sweet Home Memorial Garden (Family Private Cemetery) in McNeil, at 2:00 p.m., under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Rev. Ernest Moore, Presiding Pastor.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 27, from 1 - 3 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home. No other viewing will take place.
