CLIFFORD BURNETT

Cliff Burnett went home to be with his Savior on November 16, 2023. He was at home surrounded by his family and special pet Tracker.

Cliff proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Army. He spent 3 tours in Vietnam, where he was a combat medic. He was a highly decorated soldier, while defending his country. Cliff also was a Mason. He loved to fish and hunt but his biggest joy was spending time with his family.

Cliff was born February 20, 1947, to Clifford Burnett Sr. and Corinne Britt Umphries. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather James "Red" Umphries, brothers Larry Burnett, Bobby Burnett, and niece Jessica Burnett.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy J. Burnett, and daughters Stacia Burnett Britt, and Kim Burnett Wood and son-in-law Dougie Wood of Emerson, Arkansas. Grandchildren Haleigh and Jordan Hanson of Walker Creek, Arkansas, Bo Wood and Christina of Emerson, Arkansas, Paxton Britt of Canfield, Arkansas, and Cade Britt and Makinna of Peculiar, Kansas. Great Grandchildren Aubrey, Emmett, and Sawyer Hanson, Aurora Wood, and Willow Mae Wood, due in February, Sister Pam and Eddie Dinkins of Walker Creek, Arkansas, Sister-in-law Jean Burnett of Monticello, Arkansas, Beverly Burnett of Magnolia, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews, and good friends Randy, Ken, Mitchie, Wayne, Glen, David, George, and Wade.

Graveside services will be on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.

He served his God, Country, and Family well! He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
