JODY DUKE
Jody Alan Duke, age 48, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2023. He was born on June 28, 1975, to Lonnie and Janie Duke in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jody enjoyed being outside and activities such as grilling and carpentry work. But the greatest enjoyment he had was that of time spent with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Velon and Martha Butts and Charlie and Marie Duke; his son, Micheal Allegrini. All of whom he loved very much.
Left to cherish Jody's memory are his parents, Lonnie and Janie Duke of Taylor, Arkansas; wife, Sherri Duke; brothers, Josh Duke (Heather) of Taylor, Arkansas and Jamie Joe Duke (Heather) of Taylor; sister, Katie Welch (Dustin) of Taylor, Arkansas; sister in law, Pam Bright (Kevin) of Horatio, Arkansas; brother in law, Chris Allegrini (Joyce) of Rensselaer, Indiana; grandchildren, Emmie Allegrini and Alden Allegrini; special niece and nephew, Victoria Harper (Basil) and Dylan Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers for Jody will be Josh Grimes, Josh Duke, Jamie Joe Duke, Toby Cannon, Ryan Duke, and Dustin Welch. Chris Allegrini will serve as honorary pallbearer.
There will be a visitation held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at A O Smith Funeral Chapel in Taylor, Arkansas from noon to 2 p.m. The service will be held following visitation, at 2 p.m. at the A O Smith Funeral Chapel in Taylor, Arkansas with Brother Joseph Stacks officiating, under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas. Interment to following at Forest Grove Cemetery, Taylor, Arkansas.
