Magnolia Community Awareness Council (MCAC ) will host a Community Meeting on Monday, September 24, 2018 at The Reynolds Center at Southern Arkansas University, 100 East University in Magnolia, AR, 6:00 p.m.
Dinner will be served and the public is invited to attend.
Our guest speaker will be Mr. Sherman Tate, Chairman of The Urban League of the State of Arkansas. Mr. Tate will speak about Economic Development, Affordable Housing and other important issues that will be beneficial to Magnolia and surrounding communities. There will be opportunity for questions and answers after the presentations. Your participation and input will be highly valued and appreciated.
MCAC is a community-based group working toward uniting and organizing citizens around social justice issues affecting our community. We believe that it is important for citizens to stay well informed about the decisions being made on their behalf. As part of our on- going effort to promote civic awareness and engagement, we will continue to hold special events that will encourage citizens to stay engaged and get informed on issues that are important to our community.
