SAU freshman setter Lexi Kruse notched her second career double-double, while junior Seven Powers posted six kills behind an efficient .313 attack clip and despite falling in three sets to Henderson State.
The Lady Reddies won their 11th straight match in a GAC tilt on Thursday night inside the W.T. Watson Center. The Muleriders proved to be gritty in forcing close play in the second and third sets, before suffering their 10th loss of the season.
The Lady Muleriders prepare to host their tri-match on Tuesday, beginning at 2 p.m.
Arkansas-Monticello and Williams Baptist University will join SAU in Magnolia. Southern Arkansas and UAM will meet in a GAC match at 2 p.m., while the visitors play each other at 4, before SAU and WBU close out the night at 6 p.m.
