SAU senior defensive lineman Anthony Washington has his eyes on OBU’s Kris Oliver during the Muleriders 35-10 loss to the Tigers last week. The Mulerider defense gave up 244 yards on the ground to OBU. With an NCAA Division II playoff berth on the line Saturday at UAM in Monticello, the Muleriders are looking to shut down the Boll Weevils and earn their second ever trip to the postseason tournament. SAU is currently ranked seventh in the region. The top seven teams will advance to the playoffs, so the Muleriders should get in with a victory over the Weevils and baring any surprises in the final voting. Kickoff at Cotton Boll Stadium is set for 3 p.m.
