EDWARD C. STREETER

Mr. Edward Charles Streeter, 90, of Crossett, AR, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett. He was a native of Snyder and lifelong resident of Crossett, a retiree of G-P Plywood Mill, and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Trantham Streeter; a son, Michael Streeter; five brothers, Buddy, V.L., Author, Floyd and Lee Streeter; three sisters, Sue Burch, Emma Nelms, and Ethel Pruitt. ‘Ed’, as he was called, was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and enjoyed working in the woods.

He is survived by four sons, Charlie A. Streeter of Crossett, AR, Roy Edward Streeter of Hamburg, AR, Lamar E. Streeter, wife Stacy Murphy, of Magnolia, AR, and Anthony C. Streeter of Conway, AR; two daughters, Sonya Streeter of Hamburg, AR, and Michelle Stephenson, husband Jason, of Crossett, AR; one brother, Wesley Streeter, wife Frances, of Sterlington, LA; and one sister Johnnie Morrow of McRae, AR; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service is Friday, November 9, 2018 at 3 p.m., at Trafalgar Cemetery in Snyder, AR with Harold Pruitt officiating. Active Pallbearers are Roy Streeter, Lamar Streeter, Roy W. Murphy, Justin Wooley, and Jason Stephenson.

Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2018 from 1:30 - 2:15 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home.
