Due to potential heavy rains this coming weekend in Northwest Arkansas and around the Natural State, the 9-State Classic hosted by Arkansas-Monticello in Bentonville has been canceled. However, the 10th-ranked SAU Lady Muleriders (6-0) will now travel to Emporia, KS, for four in-region games. They will play at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, as well as 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday.
At Goodheart Field, it's been decided to push the Muleriders' GAC opening series against Southeastern Oklahoma to Sunday and Monday.
The series will now begin on Sunday at 5 p.m. and conclude on Monday, with a doubleheader starting at noon.
