Imogene Yates, 67, of Emerson, AR died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR.
Imogene was born on January 11, 1951 in Magnolia, AR to the late Red and Ima Pearl (Daniels) Yates. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; sister Ruth Ann Gary; and brother David Lee Yates. She is survived by her companion of 25 years Samuel Savoie of Emerson, AR; siblings, Lucy Yates in Abbeville, LA, Clarence Yates of Emerson, AR, Billy Joe Yates of Emerson, AR, Ronnie Yates of Emerson, AR, and Margaret Greene of Kansas City, MO; nephews and nieces, Jennifer Thomas of Sterlington, LA, Jeffery Yates of Hope, AR, Robert Kilpatrick of Hot Springs, AR, Stacy Menard of Abbeville, LA, Jennifer Stelly of Abbeville, LA, Amanda Barnett of Abbeville, LA, and Kathy Barnett of Abbeville, LA; step-son Jason Savoie of Emerson, AR; step-daughter Shelly Burns of Emerson, AR; and step-grandchildren Alexis Burns and Austin Burns both of Emerson, AR.
A graveside services was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Bro. Ben Coulter officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Clint Fuller, Jeff Yates, Jason Savoie, David Hopkins, Anthony Suire, and David Woodard.
