TUESDAY - Apr. 24

Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 251 Columbia Road 13 in Magnolia, will host its monthly Gospel Jubilee Community Singing at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Herb Phillips at 870-299-1562.

Unified Mission will be held at Galilee Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Speaker for the evening will be First Lady Sharvaughn Johnson and Resurrection Ministries. Everyone in cordially invited.

SATURDAY - Apr. 28

Fellowship Baptist Church of Stamps will their “Men Standing for Christ” program at 6 p.m. Speakers will be Daniel Collier of Resurrection Ministries, Mario Blake of Fellowship Baptist Church, Randy Brock of Brown Chapel CME, Andrew Reed of New Zion Baptist Church, and Joseph West of First Baptist Church.

True Worship will host a “Broken But Blessed Conference” at 10 a.m. Host Pastor is Joyce Easter. If you are broke, broken, or shattered, come and let God do the mending.

Asbury United Methodist Church will have a playground fundraiser 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the square in Magnolia. Tickets are $8 and include hamburger, chips, dessert, and a drink. In case of rain, the event will be held at the church, 1300 E. University in Magnolia.

Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church is having an All You Can Eat Open Faced Taco fundraiser 5-7 p.m. at intersection of Columbia Roads 15 and 200. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for children 5-12, under 5 free. Dine in or take out. Ticket includes tea and dessert.

Asbury UMC, 1300 E. University in Magnolia, will have Gospel Night beginning at 7 p.m. The Asbury choir and local gospel acts will perform. Donations for the children’s playground are welcome.

SUNDAY - Apr. 29

The Columbia District Baptist Association will hold its Fifth Sunday Singing Convention, beginning at 2 p.m. All churches within the district are encouraged to represent and participate. The event will be held at the Columbia District Auditorium.

New Life Ministries COGIC, 409 S. Dogwood in Waldo, will have Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. Special guests will be Evangelist Leroy Martin with Life Builders Restoration Church.

SUNDAY - May 6

Ebenezer Baptist Church, located 4.2 Miles north of Village on Hwy. 98, will hold their annual all-day singing and homecoming at 10:30 a.m. with linch at 12:30 p.m. Guests will be “A Measure of Grace” from Springhill, Gary Davis of West Monroe, La., Ellen Marsh of Prescott, and Zane Glasscock.

St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, pastor Rev. Tony C. Smith, will celebrate their Church Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Special guests will be Rev. Theodore Smith and Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church of Emerson will hold a Men and Women’s Day Hat Program at at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

New Life Ministries COGIC, 409 S. Dogwood in Waldo, will have their Pre-Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Special guests will be Pastor William Cooper with Greater Mt. Olive.

TUESDAY - May 8

The Village Cemetery Association will meet for regular businesss at Village Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Any and all interested parties are urged to attend.

SUNDAY - May 20

New Life Ministries COGIC, 409 S. Dogwood in Waldo, will have their Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Special guests will be Supt. Larry Ferguson with Greater Roadside and Glover’s Memorial.
