Evelyn Vinson, 88, of Magnolia passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
Evelyn was born on May 7, 1929, in Mt. Holly to John Samuel and Tennie Lee (McDonald) Lewis and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Hettie Rowell, Ethel Eubanks, Mary Pagen, Margie Braswell, and Ida Crumpler.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gales L. Vinson of Magnolia; daughter Kathy Gayle Page and husband Jimmy of Magnolia; grandsons, Jimmy Don Page of Cabot and Michael Page of Ft. Smith; and great-granddaughter Abigail Lee Page of Cabot.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Elvis Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home Inc. in Magnolia.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Elvis Griffin, Jimmy Page, Bobby Braswell, Malcolm George, Clay Dixon, and Jimmy Eubanks.
