Clarence Taylor, 66, of Dallas, Texas, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Baylor Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1951, in Emerson to Charlie and Annie Mae (Copeland) Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Clarence Taylor, Jr. of Houston, Texas; daughter, Carla Cooper-Haamid of Dupont, Wash.; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Alverdia Taylor of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mary Ann Sargent and Julia Calloway, both of Muskegon Heights, Mich.
Funeral services will be held Friday evening, May 26, at Golden Gates Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
Graveside interment service and viewing will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Mt. Israel Cemetery in Emerson.
