Southern Arkansas University's seventh annual Rip Powell Invitational Golf Tournament, presented by Mustard Seed Wealth Management, will take place on Friday, June 23 at the Magnolia Country Club.
The annual golf invitational will be feature two flights with a morning flight tee time at 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon flight tee time of 1:30 p.m.
Teams will be comprised of four golfers with the format in each flight being a four-man scramble.
The entry fee of the event, which will include breakfast, lunch, and a goodie bag, will be $400 a team or $100 a person for individual golfers that do not comprise a full four-man team.
In those instances, individual golfers will be grouped in to complete full four-man teams as possible.
Sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals are Gold, $1,000; Blue, $500; Hole, $200; and Tee Box, $100.
Proceeds from the Rip Powell Invitational Golf Tournament will benefit the Mulerider football program.
Most-recently, this annual fundraising event has resulted in the naming rights of the football playing field in honor of Rip Powell, as well as new player lockers within the Auburn Smith Fieldhouse.
