JOSIE MAE “ANN” HESTER
Josie Mae “Ann” Davis-Hester, 71, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at UAMS in Little Rock.
She was born Jan. 31, 1946, in Texarkana to Sidney Davis and Lillian Mack.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eddie Hester.
She is survived by son, Randy Pickens of Stamps; daughters, Victoria Johnson, Delicia Sanders, both of Stamps, and Sandra (Craig) Ivy of Lewisville; sisters, Helen Hamilton, Kathleen Cummings, and Emma (Larry) Cook, all of Stamps, Doris (Artic) Shelton, and Ruby (Kenneth) Hensley of Lawton, Okla.; brothers, Sidney (Sheila) Davis, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Robert (Connie) Gaines of Lewisville; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Smith Funeral Home on First Street in Stamps.
Home Going Funeral Celebration will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Smith First Street Chapel in Stamps with Pastor Ricky Cunningham delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
