Mike and Carol Neal of Magnolia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha, to Carmelo Guzman, son of Camilo Guzman and Maria Cruz Mancera of Magnolia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Vanceil Neal of Magnolia, the late Calvin Neal, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Delton Gates.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Ignacio Lopez and Ofelia Vega of Mexico.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Magnolia High School and a student at Southern Arkansas University, working toward a degree in education. She is employed by Sara’s on the square in downtown Magnolia.
The prospective groom is a firefighter with the Magnolia Fire Department.
The wedding will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Magnolia with a reception to follow.
