Ruby Lee Eason-Smith, 85, of Stamps died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at her residence. She was born April 20, 1932, in Waldo to the late Louis and Annie Eason.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Stamps. She taught Sunday School, was a member of the Mission, and her most treasured position was as Usher.
She is survived by her son, David (Thelma) Smith of Magnolia; daughter, Georgia Mae Smith of Stamps; daughter-in-law, Leander Smith of Stamps; brothers, Edward (Francis) Eason of Lewisville and Clarence Eason of Stamps; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at Friendship Baptist Church in Stamps with Rev. Lee Pickings officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, July 21, at the funeral home.
