Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Waldo, Lumber community, will hold their Annual Men & Women’s Day/Black History Program at 2 p.m. Guest speakers are Deacon Ivory Godbolt Sr. of Buckner and Sis. Patricia Sterling Williams of Waldo.

Mount Tabor Baptist Church will hold its Pastor’s Aide program, ‘UPS of Life,’ at 6 p.m. Guest speakers will be Don Moore, Christen Turner, Tia Wesson, Derrick Harper, Greg French, and Gladys Wesson.

SUNDAY - Feb. 26

New Bethel Baptist Church will hold its “Family and Friends Day” at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Billy Burris. Guest church sill be St. Peter M.B.C. of Little Rock.

Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Youth Department will host the 13th annual African-American History Celebration of Youth: Remembering Our Heritage at 2:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall at SAU. The event is co-sponsored by SAU’s Office of Multicultural Services, Albemarle Foundation, Columbia County Community Foundation, and CSNS Fashion & Men’s Wear. Area high school seniors will be speaking, along with special young adult speaker Gabrielle Davis, an SAU junior political science major. The event is free and open to the public.
