Charles Henry Sanders, 83, of Stephens died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born June 2, 1933, to William Taft and Diola Sanders.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jessie, A.D., Howard, and Sherman Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Lurlene Sanders; one son, Charles Ray Sanders; four daughters, Vanessa Banks, Debra Ann Warren, Belinda R. Porchia, and Sharon Frazier; one sister, Linda Koger; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 10 inherited step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at St. James AME Church in Stephens with Minister Bruce Porchia officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery in Stephens under the direction of Marks Funeral Home, Inc., of Magnolia.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18.
