Emerson FFA Chapter and Emerson FFA Alumni are hosting a hamburger supper and auction on Thursday in the high school cafeteria. The hamburger supper, which consists of a hamburger, chips, homemade dessert, and choice of tea or lemonade, begins at 5:00 PM. Take-out orders are available. Cost per meal is $6. At 6:00 PM, over 100 items will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Sen. Bruce Maloch will serve as auctioneer for the event.
Some of the items to be auctioned include a Ruger 10/22 with scope, an Advocare basket valued at $90, a 16 X 20 hummingbird canvas, and several gift cards from local businesses. All money raised will be used to send FFA students to the National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, later this month.
