Dr. Randy and Kathryn Hayes of Magnolia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth, to Nicholas Anderson Paschal, son of Andy and Dawn Paschal of Scott, La.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joann Sterkx of Alexandria, La., and the late Joseph A. Sterkx, and Charles and Norma Hayes of Magnolia.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Glent and Carolyn Dupre of Franklin, La., and Frances Paschal of Youngsville, La., and the late Eugene Paschal.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2014 magna cum laude graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society. She is empoyed by Magnolia Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Carencro High School and a 2011 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in history. While attending SAU, he was a member of the SAU Baseball Team. He is employed by Knight Manufacturing.
The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchitoches, La., with a reception to follow at Bon Ami-The Landing Restaurant in Natchitoches. Invitations will be sent.
