HOPE — A 17-year-old was arrested in Magnolia on a first-degree murder charge for the shooting death of a man in Hope.
Travon Davis was arrested without incident here around 3 p.m. He was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility, where he will be held for a first appearance.
Hope police responded to a report of a person being shot Tuesday about 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, officers found a deceased person, Ivory Conway Jr., 24, seated in a vehicle with what appeared to be several gunshot wounds.
