On his first day as the new president of Southern Arkansas University, Dr. Trey Berry and his family are shown shoveling dirt on the site where the iconic Lone Pine tree at SAU was replanted. The original tree was planted in 1909 and was destroyed in a storm in 1956. The replanting of the tree symbolizes both the history of SAU and the bright future of the institution.
