KAY GRAYSON

Kay Frances Allen Grayson, 78, of Bald Knob, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. Kay was born Oct. 26, 1936 to Curtis Allen and Lois Kinard Allen at the Allen family home place in the Spotsville community.

She grew up in El Dorado. Kay was a woman of many talents including music, an artist, chef, and decorator. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Grayson Jr., and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Barth Grayson of Bald Knob; her daughter, Beth Grayson Stout of Rogers; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margie Lensgraf of Knoxville, Tenn., Phoebe Allen of Austin, Texas, and Carol Smoak of Palm City, Fla..

Visitation was to be at 1 p.m. today with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Burial will be at the Grayson Family Cemetery near Prince Cemetery, under the direction of Powell Funeral Home of Bald Knob-Judsonia.
