Albemarle-Magnolia 50th Anniversary

Albamalre held a 50th anniversary celebration on Wednesday, July 18. The event was attended by Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and numerous other local and state leaders, as well as Albemarle corporate personnel. The Magnolia bromine operation began in 1969 as Bromet Company, then became Ethyl Corporation.
