Special to the Banner-News

South Arkansas Heritage Museum is proud to announce that we are now offering genealogical research to the public on an individual basis. You will find out what you need to know to get started on the journey to tracing your own personal family history.

If you are interested in our new service, please contact us at [email protected] to receive your free Genealogical Exploration Kit. You will be provided with all the details outlining the services our professional genealogist/historian can offer. You may be surprised at some of the information you receive,

but we promise you will not be disappointed.

To introduce this new offering, we will be conducting a free "Genealogy 101" informational meeting at the Longino House on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6:30 pm. We will hear from Dylan Powell, Genealogy Clerk with the Columbia County Library and Mike Gee, SAHM Historian. They will inform you in person about how to get started investigating your own family background.
