Ellie Baker the Magnolia Economic Developer announced during the City Council meeting on March 25 that a new version of the city website will be live on April 4.

"You'll be able to get information a lot easier. It's going to be a lot cleaner and a lot more user-friendly. We will have our agendas, our meeting minutes and videos that we take. It's going to be a lot easier to get your answers to your questions as a citizen," she said.

Baker said the updated site will also host forms that residents may need, zoning code, city code and the ability to sign up for alerts.

"It's just going to be overall a lot better of a website. The company that did this does a lot of municipal websites so they knew what a town would need to have the best website," she said.

Councilperson Steve Nipper asked who would be responsible for updating the website.

Baker said that she and city intern Olivia Munn will update the website.
