Sharp celebrates 15 years at Peoples Bank

Leslie Sharp, Assistant Vice President / Branch Manager and Loan Officer, recently celebrated her 15th anniversary with Peoples Bank. Sharp started as a teller in 2009. In 2010 she became a loan assistant and moved up to loan officer in 2015. She has served as branch manager of the Lakewood Banking Center since 2022 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch in addition to her loan officer duties.

"Leslie's 15 years of experience, professionalism, and leadership have proven her to be a valuable team member. Her fun, caring personality makes her a favorite with customers and co-workers and we're fortunate to have her on our team. Sharp is a native of Magnolia, a graduate of Magnolia High School and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Arkansas University. She is on the United Way Board where she serves as secretary and participates in the Magnolia Blossom Festival and Leadership Magnolia Alumni Association. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys reading, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family, especially her niece.

When asked what Leslie likes most about her job, she responded "My co-workers and I are like family. We all care about each other and want the best for each other," she said.

Peoples Bank is a locally owned community bank established in 1910. Headquartered in Magnolia, Arkansas, Peoples Bank operates three banking offices in Magnolia and one in Waldo.
