GARY CALHOUN
Gary L. Calhoun, 70, of McNeil, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born July 31, 1952, in Hope, Arkansas to Hollis Levesque Calhoun and Nadine Martin Tinsley. He was a member of the United States Army. He treasured time spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and riding Jack to Grannys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Danny Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Penny Murphy Calhoun of McNeil, Arkansas. One son, Gary Christopher Calhoun and wife April of Sherman, Texas. Two grandsons, Gary Ashton Calhoun of Bossier City, Louisiana and Ean Patrick Calhoun of Balch Springs, Texas. One granddaughter, Makayla Don Calhoun of Haltom City, Texas. One great grandson. Two sisters, Nina Johnson and Dianne Phelps. Stepfather Coy Tinsley Jr as well as many other family and friends. A private family service was held at Glenville Cemetery in Nevada County.

Gloria Katherine Sears, 96, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Unity Church Magnolia in Magnolia at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at Kings Hill Cemetery in Magnolia, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Pastor Michael Howell, officiant. Rev. Kenneth Ross, eulogist.
Visitation will be Friday, March 10 from 1–3 p.m., at R.L. Reed Funeral Home in Magnolia.
