CCS archery team competes in Little Rock

The Columbia Christian School (CCS) archery team recently competed in shot bullseye (target) and 3D (animal targets) competitions at Southwest Christian Academy in Little Rock. A bullseye award is the number of perfect 10's shot in competition.

Following are how CCS athletes fared in the competiton:

Bullseye results

• High school – Victoria Allison – First place girls and medal for the highest bullseyes of the competition with 18

• Middle School – Marley Linville, second place girls; medal for seven bullseyes; Nora Smith, fourth place girls; and Jaxson Rushton, medal for eight bullseyes

• Elementary – First place team trophy; first place girls – Peyton Warr, medal for threes bullseyes; Violet Yu – second place girls, medal for six bullseyes; Alexis Hines – third place girls, medal for six bullseyes; Laila Hooker – fifth place girls, medal for five bullseyes; and Jackson Martin – third place boys, medal for six bullseyes

3D results

• High School – Victoria Allison, first place.

• Elementary – Jackson Martin, second place; Peyton Warr, third place.
