GABRIEL GREGORY

Gabriel Neal Gregory was embraced back into the loving arms of Jesus at 8:35 pm on October 24, 2022 at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX. He spent 242 days inside his mommy's tummy and 104 minutes on earth. His time on earth was a brief glimpse into the beauty and perfection of heaven for all who met him. He was born at 6:51 pm, weighed 4lb 5oz and measured 17 3/4 inches long. He spent every moment of his life being loved and cherished by his parents, family, and friends.

He leaves behind his parents-Dr. Russell Neal Gregory & Mrs. Amber Cummings Gregory of Texarkana, AR; maternal grandparents-Mr. Buddy Boldon & Mrs. Sherry Cummings of Rison, AR; paternal grandparents-Mr. David & Dr. Emmalee Beene Gregory of Magnolia, AR; aunts and uncles-Ms. Samantha Gregory of Fayetteville, AR; Ms. Tiffani Snyder of El Paso, TX; Mrs. Becca (Miles) Billings of Rison, AR; Mrs. Brook (Bill) Rhodes of Rison, AR; Mr. Jordan Snyder of DeWitt, AR; great-aunts and uncles-Dr. Willis & Barbara Shelby Beene of Magnolia, AR; Dr. Tim & Mrs. Barbara Neal Beene Duke of Searcy, AR.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather-Mr. Woodrow Wilson (Bud) Cummings of Rison, AR, and his paternal great-grandparents, Dr. Horace Neal & Mrs. Hazel Snider Beene of Magnolia, AR; Mr. Homer Russell & Mrs. Marilyn Kay Gregory of Lancaster, TX.

Gabriel's parents want to express their sincerest gratitude and deepest appreciation to the physicians and nurses that cared for him. The Journey Through Bereavement Nurse Navigators helped Gabriel's family trade "...beauty for ashes..." (Isaiah 61:3) during a very difficult time and enabled his family to uniquely commemorate Gabriel's beautiful journey. There will not be a funeral service. The family is requesting that donations be made to the Texarkana Journey Through Bereavement team through the avenues below:

KENNITH GRAY

Kennith Zane Gray, 84 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born January 21, 1938, to the late Arlis Laverne Gray and Dollie Bammah (Elmore) Gray. Kennith served in the Arkansas Army National Guard from 1956 to 1964. He was an ordained minister serving many area churches, preaching many services where he was a Licensed Funeral Director with Lewis Funeral Home, and served as a Columbia County Sheriff's Office as a Reserve Deputy.

Zane is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Matthew Jordon Morris, sister Hattie Burge, and two brothers in law William Edward Thurman and Jerry Staggs.

Zane is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Jane Gray of Magnolia; three children, Jeffery Zane Gray of Magnolia, Michael Wayne Gray and wife Barbara of Magnolia, and Angela Jane (Gray) Millican and husband Wayne of Cabot, Arkansas; 4 grandsons, Aaron and Sara Morris, Brandon Gray, Jonathon Gray, and Dustin and Katie Morris; three great grandchildren, Jane Marie Morris, Jordynne Morris, and Matthew Morris; two sisters, Yvonne and Jerry Payne and Ruby Staggs; two brothers in law, David Burge and Billy Thurman; sister in law Monty Thurman;

The family would like to especially thank Life Touch Hospice, Courtney Phillips, Marjorie Covington, and Columbia County Ambulance Service for the care, comfort and love that has shown to our family.

Visitation with the family will begin Friday, November 4, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Charles Lloyd and Aaron Morris officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Burial will follow at Thurman Cemetery in Springhill, Louisiana. Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice, 230 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Morris, Dustin Morris, Brandon Gray, Jonathon Gray, Tony Russell, Bo Burge, and Jonathan Berry.
