LINDA GRAYSON

Linda Arrington Grayson, 71 of Stephens, AR, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Linda grew up in Stephens, a town she loved and never left, and devoted a lot of energy to bringing beauty to it. Linda enjoyed many hobbies and loved to travel. An avid cook, Linda loved serving meals to friends and family, and was happiest when she was surrounded by both. She had a larger-than-life personality and an infectious laugh. Linda will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Linda was preceded by her father, Bernard Arrington, and nephew, Ty Keith. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Duncan Grayson, of Stephens, AR; son Shane Grayson; two daughters, Ashley Lyle and husband, Chris and Gretchen Stinnett and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Schyler and Micah Grayson and Parker Stinnett; mother, Melba Arrington; and 2 sisters, Diane Keith and husband, Phil and Kellie Thomas and husband, Michael; as well as three nephews and a niece.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Stephens Cemetery fund, at P.O. PEGGIE VANSICKLE

Peggie (Martin) Vansickle, 72, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at her home.

Peggie was born on June 13, 1949, in Rosston, Arkansas to the late J.T. and Pearlie Marie (Hendrix) Martin. She was a wonderful homemaker and while her children were attending Claiborne Academy in Haynesville, Louisiana she drove the school bus for several years.

She was longtime faithful member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church and a former board member of the Four Communities Volunteer Fire Department.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Billy Charles Vansickle; son Terry Vansickle; sister Mary Frances Glisson; and brothers James Martin and Sidney Martin. Peggie is survived by her children Cindy Vansickle of Arlington, Texas, Billy Charles "Buddy" Vansickle, Jr. of Village, Charlotte Foster and husband Rickey of Magnolia, Richard Brewster and wife Lora of Monroe, Louisiana, Tammy Johnson and husband Tracy of Village, and Paul Brewster and wife Noel of Little Rock; grandchildren Jeremy Vansickle and wife Heather of Texarkana, Texas, Justin Vansickle of Magnolia, Lacey Stuart and husband Blake of Magnolia, Jamie Burnham and husband Justin of Ruston, Louisiana, Grant Brewster and wife Jamie of Okolona, Laura Fleming and husband Jeff of Magnolia, Ryan Evans of Magnolia, Brittney Driggers and husband Jon of Magnolia, Maddie Brewster of Little Rock, Logan Johnson and wife Cristina of Mobile, Alabama, Corby Johnson of Magnolia, Brody Johnson of Magnolia, Chelsea Walsh and husband Joshua of Bussey, and Cody Vansickle and wife Alex of Haynesville, Louisiana; eighteen great grandchildren; brother Dennon Martin of Stamps; special friends Sandra Wilson of Fordyce and Geneva Moss of El Dorado; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 9 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. with Bro. Mike Launius and Bro. Ken Hipp officiating.

Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Johnson, Rickey Foster, Justin Burnham, Jeremy Vansickle, Justin Vansickle, and Jon Driggers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Evans, Grant Brewster, and Blake Stuart.

LARRY JACOBS

Larry Charles Jacobs, 68, of Buckner, AR, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, AR.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Hamilton-Davis Chapel, in Stamps, AR, at 3 p.m., with burial to follow with Military Honors at Buckner Community Cemetery in Buckner, AR, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Rev. Wesley McDuffie, Officiant, Rev. Charles Cooper, Eulogist.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 25, at St. John Baptist Church in Buckner, Arkansas, from 4 to 6 p.m.
