Memorial services for Mrs. Holly Burcham Budd, age 54, of Haughton, LA, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, Bossier City, LA, with Rev. Matt Rawle officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. A private interment will be planned at a later date at Christie's Chapel Cemetery in Magnolia, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Holly was born on July 8, 1968 to Hershel "Bud" Leon Burcham and Lucy George Burcham in Fort Smith, AR and passed away suddenly along with her husband, Noel W. Budd on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Haughton, LA. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Holly attended Bossier Parish Schools and graduated from Airline High School in 1986. From there she attended classes and also worked at BPCC. She worked for a local bank for many years as well as Lowe's, Fred's and Walmart. For the past ten years she worked for the ARC of Caddo/Bossier as a mail carrier at Barksdale Air Force Base. Holly was loved by so many of her customers and co-workers and touched many lives. One thing that Holly cherished were her fur babies (Holly-Dog, Longtail, Chester and LillyBug). Her love for animals was very evident. Everyone that knew her knew she LOVED her chocolate (frozen, of course).

She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Chris Burcham and wife, Janet of Benton, LA, Matthew Burcham of Benton, LA; three nephews, Grant Stephen Burcham, William Christopher Burcham, Nathan James Burcham; three nieces, Ainsley Elizabeth Burcham, Ashley Digilormo, Leah Boswell and husband, John-Michael; and a great niece, Hazel Lynn Boswell, as well as many extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend their condolences to the family of Noel "Billy" Budd. We appreciate their love and compassion for Holly and all that they have done for her. We will miss the bright smiles and laughter that the two of them shared.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in memory of Holly Burcham Budd to Asbury UMC Youth Dept, Asbury Prayer Garden or Shriner's Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA.
