Rachel Waller seeking re-election as Columbia County Tax Collector

Rachel Waller announced that she will seek a second term as Columbia County Tax Collector in 2022.

During her first term, Waller and her staff successfully completed technology upgrades to operate the office more efficiently and offer convenient payment options in person, by phone, mail, drop-box or online.

Waller looks forward to being able to continue serving Columbia County with the citizens' continued support.

In 2017, Waller has announced that she would seek the office of Columbia County Tax Collector in the 2018 election. She is a 1978 graduate of Emerson High School and earned an associate degree from Southern Arkansas University in 1980.

During the 2018 election, Waller received 1,591 votes to her opponent's 472.

Waller previously served as the Columbia County District Court Clerk. She and her staff had the privilege of serving both Columbia County and the City of Magnolia. Other previous work experience included Security Abstract Company, Deputy Clerk in the Columbia County Circuit Clerk's Office, Billing and Collections Clerk with Magnolia Water Department, and Library Technician with Magale Library at Southern Arkansas University.
