MMS, MHS students earn 126 spots in ArkCDA All-Region choirs

Magnolia Middle School and Magnolia High School students earned 126 spots in the ArkCDA Region 3 All-Region Honor Choirs. Region auditions that were held October 9 (senior high) and October 16 (junior high), virtually.

Students earning placement will participate in the ArkCDA Region 3 Honor Choir Clinic/Concerts, to be held on November 12th (junior high) at Magnolia High School/Magnolia Performing Arts Center (MPAC) and November 13th (high school) at First Baptist Church, Benton, AR.

Clinicians for the junior level event include Rashaad Calaham (Sam Houston Middle School, Irving, TX), Kathryn Hoover (Valley View Junior High) and CamRyn Stillman (Parkview High School).

Clinicians for the senor level event include Dr. Kevin Coker (Director of Choral Activities, University of Central Arkansas), Clint Pianalto (Springdale Har-Ber High School) and Angela White (Retired, Benton High School).

Magnolia Middle School choirs are under the direction of Kaitlyn Mahaffey-McGee. Magnolia High School choirs are under the direction of Larry Dunn.
