MARY WATERS
Mary Ann (Perry) Waters, formerly of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away on January 20, 2021 at Regency Retirement Village in Huntsville.
Born at home in the Calhoun community of South Arkansas, she was the fourth child of Dell Milner and Percy Perry.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Sammy Waters, and her brother, Pat Perry. She is survived by her sons Greg and his wife Lisa of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Matt and his wife Laura of Huntsville, Alabama; her sisters Tommye Cheshire of Nashville, Arkansas, and Eloise Landgren of Lincoln, Nebraska; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann loved tennis, gardening, singing in the choir at First Baptist Church of Magnolia, and having her family home for the holidays.
A memorial service for Sammy J. Waters (1936-2020) and Mary Ann (Perry) Waters (1938-2021), both of Magnolia, will be held at First Baptist Church of Magnolia on Saturday, June 12. Visitation with the family will be at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m.
