SUE REDDICK

Sue Reddick, 78, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Sue was born on January 3, 1943 in Crossett, Arkansas to the late Harold S. and Eleanor M. (Womble) Carter. She was a retired administration assistant for Phillips Petroleum and a member of the Open Door Fellowship Church in Springhill, Louisiana. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower beds and watching her hummingbirds. She enjoyed going fishing with her family and friends. Sue was very compassionate, kind, and caring of people and animals that were lost or who needed a temporary home. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lew Reddick, and son Steven Machen. Sue is survived by her two sons Joey Machen of Taylor, Jeff Machen and wife Vicki of El Dorado, brother Charles Carter and wife Diane of Crossett, grandchildren Cody and Austin Machen of El Dorado, Jacob and Nathan Machen of Alma, Savanah and Georgia Machen of El Dorado, and stepson Matt Reddick of Boulder, Colorado.

A graveside service will be held on today, May 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Tim Everitt officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.

DENNIS MEADOWS

Dennis Bruce Meadows, 67 of Stephens, AR passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Ouachita County Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1953 in Blytheville, AR to Delbert and Jackie Smith Meadows. He was a graduate of Camden High School, former Camden Police Officer and he was retired from Amfuel in Magnolia, AR. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family more than anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Jackie Meadows; brother, Richard Wade Meadows; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Floyd and Maxie Pursley; and brother-in-law, Richard Young.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Meadows, sons, Brad Meadows, Bryan Meadows (Shawn Rene), Justin Gill (Leslie), John Gill and Denny Meadows; granddaughters, Lexi Block (Blake), Leah Gill, Shelby Gill, Allie Gill and McKenzie Gill, grandsons, Dylan Morehead, Miles Gill, Mason Meadows and Brayden Meadows; sisters, Toni Young and Lisa Van Assche (Rick); niece, Ashley Kenworthy (Brian); nephew, Jeremy Young (Sabra); great niece, Savanna Dewey; and great nephew, Bryson Young; and a host of cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

LAVELL McDANIEL

Mr. Lavell McDaniel, 58, of Magnolia (Village), AR, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Damascus Baptist Church in Village, Arkansas, at 2 p.m. under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC. Eulogist Rev. Ernest Moore.

Visitation will be held Friday from 1 – 3 p.m.
