The Event Center at Fairview Park in Camden is set to host a theatre camp in July.

The Story Theater on State ‘37” will be held from July 12-16 at the events center with a morning session from 9 a.m. to noon from 4th-6th graders and an afternoon session from 1-4 p.m. for grades 7th-9th. The cost is $50 for each child.

Professional actor and AR Arts Council Artist on Tour director Shelton Harden will serve as the camp director for Story Theater on Stage 37.

This is the second camp for the event center over the summer after holding a successful arts camp in June. Event Center at Fairview Park’s Amanda Wunnenberg described the June Arts camp as a “show stopper” with 50 children and many volunteers participating. She also shared that the group is hoping to make a longterm Children’s Theater.

A limited amount of scholarships are available for each camp. For more information visit The Events Center at Fairview Park Facebook page or visit www.theeventscenteratfairviewpark.com for registration.
