Magnolia man killed in head on collision

A Magnolia man was killed in a head-on collision in Rural Calhoun County on Tuesday afternoon, according to a report by the State Police on the Arkansas Department of Public Safety website.

Jordan Desahun McBride, 29, was driving a Lexus on Highway 167 around 2:10 p.m. when the crash occurred.

State Police reported that McBride lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center lane into southbound traffic, where he stuck a Dodge truck with two occupants.

The driver of the truck, Dennis Price of Memphis, TN, was transported to the Medical Center of South Arkansas for his injuries. The report states that weather and road conditions were clear and dry when the incident occurred.
