For the first time in two years, the SAU Lady Muleriders have an athlete recognized as the GAC’s Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.
Marian Duncan, participating in the triple jump during a meet, recently received the award. The freshman from Baytown, Texas, received the honor for her effort at the Little Rock Open, where she recorded a personal record in the triple jump with a best jump of 11.09 meters. The mark is the fifth-best mark achieved in the conference this season. On the season, Duncan has finished in the top eight in seven of nine events. She became the 10th Lady Mulerider to receive a weekly award, and the seventh under head coach Tim Servis. (Photo by SAU Sports)
