As of Wednesday, March 25, the Columbia County Courthouse in downtown Magnolia and Columbia County Annex offices at 101 Boundary St. will be open to the public by appointment only due to the concerns over spreading the coronavirus. The order will be in effect, “until further notice,” according to a statement from County Judge Denny Foster.
“Our employees will continue to work in their offices and conduct day to day business,” he said. “If your business requires access to the Courthouse or County Annex, please call the appropriate office to schedule an appointment.”
The Columbia County Landfill will remain open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
WCA will continue to run normal daily trash routes.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but, public health and safety is our priority,” Foster added. “Thank you for your cooperation.”
