MRMC limits entry to ER only

Magnolia Regional Medical Center on Wednesday announced that, effective immediately, all patients and visitors to will be required to enter the facility only through the Emergency Room entrance.

Visitors will still be limited to one per patient.

The hospital is also screening all visitors.

On March 20, other rules were put in place limiting the entry to the hospital.

MRMC visiting hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm daily. Visitors were limited to one visitor per patient.

All clinics (Murphy Clinic, Surgical Clinic, Women’s Center, Family Medical Clinic) are open and continuing to see patients. Patients are asked not to bring visitors with them to their appointments. The exception to this is pediatric patients, and those patients requiring physical assistance.

Per Governor Asa Hutchinson’s mandate regarding dine-in restrictions, the MRMC cafeteria was closed to outside patrons. The cafeteria continues to provide meal service for patients and employees.
