Melissa Glass, 61, of Marysville, AR passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at the University of Arkansas Medical Science Center in Little Rock, AR.
Melissa was born February 4, 1959 in El Dorado, AR and was a member of the Marysville United Methodist Church. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and her animals. She was a wonderful homemaker, a great cook, and was the “family” seamstress. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Braswell. Melissa is survived by her husband of 42 years Terry Glass of Marysville; son Marty Glass and wife Laura of Cairo, daughter Leah Smith and husband Aaron of Magnolia; granddaughter Nora Smith of Magnolia; mother Barbara Ann Braswell of Marysville; sisters Mona Watson and husband Pete of Magnolia, Millie Crites and husband Jimmy of Bossier City, LA, Macy Braswell and husband Mike of Magnolia; a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and her hunting family.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marysville Cemetery with Bro. Rick Humphreys officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Viewing and signing of the guest book will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews Jimmy Glass, Kevin Glass, Jay Glass, Brandon Watson, Ethan Crites, and Josh Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Aubrey Simkins, Gabe Braswell, and Joel Antley.
