Charles Smitty Glass age 78, of Queen City, Texas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

Smitty was born July 8, 1941 in Taylor, Arkansas to C. A. “Shorty” and Cleo Glass. He was retired from International Paper; a member of First Baptist Church, Queen City; and the Atlanta Masonic Lodge # 463. He was an avid deer hunter; and “Pawpaw” to his seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Sammy Glass; brother, Billy Glass and his parents, C.A. “Shorty” and Cleo Glass.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Glass of Queen City, Texas; his children, Angie Glass of Taylor, Arkansas, Teresa Endsley and husband Mike of Atlanta, Texas, C. David Glass and wife Jennifer of Texarkana, Texas, Loraine Glass and husband Gabriel of McAllen, Texas, Roger Glass and wife Katie of Queen City, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jennie Miller, Cady Milam, Camylle Glass, Vivien Glass, Payden Glass, Preston Glass, Parker Glass; sister-in-law, Virginia Glass; and a number of friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at First Baptist Church, Queen City, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Ron Riemar officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Hanner Funeral Service, Atlanta, Texas.

Interment will be in Queen City Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
