Virgie Mae Pace, 79, of McNeil passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Pace was born April 16, 1940, in Nevada County to Tom Morehead and Golden Smith-Morehead.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Calvin Pace, Sr., sisters, Callie Murphy, Shirley Maxwell, brothers, Frank C. Morehead and Howard Morehead.
Survivors: daughter, Melody Rone of Mc Neil; sons, Donnell Pace of Junction City, Donald Pace of Stephens, Marcus Pace of Savannah, Georgia, Wallace Robinson of Magnolia; sisters, Ollie Jones, Wilma Hawkins, Paula Jamerson, all of Rockford, Illinois, Dorothy Jenkins of Stephens; brothers, Tommy Morehead Jr. of Stephens, George Morehead of Rockford, Illinois, Robert Morehead of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a special niece; special nephew; brother-in-law; sister-in-law; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019, at R.L. Reed Funeral Home Chapel, at 11 a.m, with burial to follow at Gatlin Cemetery (Early View), in Mc Neil under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, with Rev. E.C. Morgan officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, November 1, noon-4:30 p.m., and Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. until the beginning of services only.
