Sports dinner planned

The Southern Arkansas Mulerider Club will host its second dinner event on Monday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Sponsored by Peoples Bank, the event will feature a meet-and-greet session with various members of the SAU athletic department and Mulerider Club Advisory Board members as well as a sit-down supper.

“In just a few short months into our athletic year, our teams have already enjoyed a ton of success and we are looking forward to finishing out the fall sports season strong,” said SAU Director of Athletics Steve Browning. “As we do that, we are also looking ahead to what’s to come and are eager for our next Mulerider Club gathering as a way to keep the momentum going within the organization. It is also a great opportunity for us to fellowship with our members and share with them where Mulerider Athletics is at and where we are heading.”

Head coaches speaking will be Andy Sharpe (men’s basketball), Adam Collins (women’s basketball), and Ben Sanders (men’s and women’s golf).

SAU’s basketball season starts Nov. 8.

The cost of the event is $15 per person and tickets can only be purchased in advance.

For advanced tickets please contact athletic department secretary, Lynn Disotell at 235-4102 or by email at [email protected].

Advanced tickets may also be purchased from Mulerider Club Advisory Board members.

The Mulerider Club is the fundraising arm of the SAU athletic department.
