Candidates on the court represent their club or organization at the Homecoming game on October 19 during the presentation of Homecoming royalty before the game on Wilkins Stadium field.

To vote for Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen, students can visit web.saumag.edu/vote. Voting opened Monday, Oct. 14, at 8 a.m., and will close Friday, Oct. 18, at midnight.

The SAU Homecoming Court is selected through a two-step interview process. Clubs and organizations submit nominations for candidates who must complete two rounds of interviews along with submitting a 500-word essay. Once a student is officially on the court, students have a chance to campaign for the position of SAU’s 2019 Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen.

The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “(Mule) Ride the Storm.” SAU’s Homecoming events begin Monday, October 14, and last through Saturday, October 19. The presentation of Homecoming royalty will be Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 2 p.m. The game will follow with kickoff starting at 2:30 p.m.
