The winning design at the inaugural Scarecrow Crawl on Magnolia’s square was from Ivan Smith Furniture.
The winner was one of 34 entries that have adorned downtown all week. The scarecrows have added to the fall atmosphere and were judged ahead of this week’s Second Thursday Market that took place Oct. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the northwest corridor of the square. As the winning merchant,
Ivan Smith’s design was awarded with a championship sash and bragging rights for the rest of the year. The fall decorations that have added seasonal life to the downtown will be on display until the end of October.
