BEATRICE K. WALKER

Beatrice “Bea” King Walker, 80, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

She was born January 3, 1939, in Philadelphia, Miss., the fifth child of Buford Clinton King and Bernice Tarver.

Bea was a loving, caring wife, mother and friend to many. She never met a stranger. She was a member of The Rugged Cross Cowboy Church and enjoyed listening to religious music. She was a member of Magnolia Quota Club for a number of years until she could no longer serve.

Proceeding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Shelia Touchstone, a son, Dewayne Lee, three brothers, James, Oscar, and William, three sisters, Frances Hillman, Virginia Stagner, and Eunice Bennett.

Survivors are her husband of 42 years, R.E. “Sonny” Walker, son, Joe Lee and wife Michelle, six daughters, Barbara Steele, Deborah Bryan, Pam Touchstone, Kim Newell, Kathy Green and husband Randy, Teresa Prestridge and husband Stuart, 3 sisters, Bernice Mazarac, Ophelia Hillhouse, and Hilda Hall. Bea had 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, sister-in-law Lu Waters, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 420 North Jackson, Magnolia AR 71753.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 13 at 10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Launius officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons John Michael Touchstone, Shaun Edward Lee, Michael Shane Steele, Taylor Andrew Touchstone, Tyler Anthony Touchstone, and Colton Bryce Lee.
