Students at Central Elementary School recently teamed up with Farmers Bank & Trust to help collect items to send to deployed troops. The students collected 2,387 items that included snacks, drink packets, toiletry items, and dental kits. Employees at FBT will use these items to prepare care packages for U.S. troops.

Mrs. Ariel Castleman’s 4th grade class, Mrs. Angela Watson’s 5th grade class, and Mrs. Michele Atkinson’s 6th grade class collected the most items in their grade. Students from those classes are pictured with representatives from Farmers Bank & Trust who collected the items from the school November 8.
